An Epic Scene from the Ramayana!

Ramayana
The Dawn of the Ram Setu

The sun hung low over the horizon, spilling molten gold across the sea. The entire Vanara sena stood in awe, watching the endless waters that separated them from Lanka.

Shri Ram stood silently, bow in hand, eyes fixed on the distant island where Sita waited. The ocean breeze carried both salt… and destiny.

The Uncrossable Sea

Lakshman (concerned):
“Bhaiya, from here Lanka seems so near… yet impossibly far.”

Ram (calm, resolute):
“Distance bends before duty, Lakshman. Even the sea must show us a way.”

Hanuman stepped forward, chest broad, tail gently swaying.

Hanuman (reverently):
“Prabhu, command me. I shall leap to Lanka this instant.”

Ram smiled softly.
“I know you can, Hanuman. But our path is not just to reach Lanka — it is to lead this entire army with us.”

Behind them, Nala and Nīla exchanged glances, already sensing what was coming.

Ram’s Prayer to the Ocean

Ram walked closer to the shimmering water. The sea roared as though listening.

Ram (folding hands):
“O Samudra Deva, guardian of the waters… allow us safe passage. Reveal a path so dharma may prevail.”

The ocean remained silent, waves crashing with unbroken indifference.

Lakshman’s patience snapped.

Lakshman (angrily):
“Bhaiya! Why plead to a sea that shows no respect? Allow me — I will dry it up with a single arrow!”

Ram (firmly):
“No, Lakshman. Power is not the first answer. Patience is.”

Still, the ocean remained unmoved.

A shadow of sorrow crossed Ram’s eyes — then transformed into divine resolve.

The Ocean Answers

Ram lifted the Brahmastra, its brilliance turning twilight into dawn.

The sea trembled.

From its depths rose the radiant Samudra Deva.

Samudra Deva (bowing):
“Forgive me, Raghunandan. The vast cannot yield easily — but your wrath shook my very soul.”

Ram (gentle but commanding):
“Then show us the path to Lanka.”

Samudra Deva:
“Build a bridge on my surface. I shall hold every stone, every step, as firmly as Earth herself.”

The Vanaras Begin the Setu

Nala stepped forward excitedly.

Nala:
“Prabhu, I am the son of Vishwakarma. If my brothers bring the stones — I will build your bridge.”

Nīla grinned.
“And I will make sure those stones never sink — even if the sea tries!”

Hanuman leapt onto the first boulder.

Hanuman:
“Come, my brothers! Let the world witness what devotion can build!”

Thousands of Vanaras roared, lifting rocks larger than their own bodies.

The first stone struck the sea —
and floated.

Gasps echoed across the shore.

Lakshman (softly, awestruck):
“Bhaiya… the ocean keeps its word.”

Ram placed his hand on Lakshman’s shoulder.

Ram:
“When hearts unite in dharma, even the impossible becomes a path.”

Ram points toward the glowing horizon.

Ram (voice steady as destiny):
“There lies Lanka… and there lies our victory. March, my friends. Every stone you lift writes a chapter in history.”

Hanuman smiles, his mace shining in the golden light.

Hanuman:
“For you, Prabhu… we would move not just stones, but mountains.”

The sun dipped behind Lanka.
The Setu rose out of the ocean.
And the journey to save Sita — had begun.
